I understand how all-consuming and stressful caring for others can be.

It takes a heavy toll in all areas of one’s life—mind, body, spirit, relationships.

What a caregiver provides and the dedication it takes is greater than most will ever see.

Maintaining healthy boundaries, avoiding burnout, and knowing when to seek support can be complicated, to say the least.

Meet Kristin Clickett, Creator and Coach

Hi, I'm Kristin.

I’m an Advanced Practice Nurse and a Nationally Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach. I’m passionate about partnering with caregivers who struggle to find the time to care for themselves. I support them with unique self-care practices, education, and coaching, so that they can live a more balanced, energetic and joyful life.

My journey in healthcare began with a literal “knock on the head” concussion and overnight hospital stay when I was nine. The experiences of those 24 hours led to a keen interest and fascination with medicine and saving lives.

I completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Nursing and Nurse Anesthesia from the University of Pittsburgh and went on to participate in cutting-edge medical technologies and surgical advancements. I was convinced that conventional medicine was the key to restoring health.

That was, until I had my own health crisis—mercury poisoning from deteriorating amalgam fillings—and was unable to be helped by several medical practitioners.

Confused and exhausted, I turned to Eastern Medicine and Alternative healthcare practitioners for natural, health-saving guidance

There, I began nourishing my body, mind and spirit with healthy foods, supplements, meditation, prayer and yoga. Slowly, I began to feel better, as I loved my body back to health.

This ignited me to study more.

Thus began my thirst for knowledge about natural healing and ignited a hunger to learn everything I could. I went on to earn a Doctorate degree in Natural Health and began utilizing the information I learned personally. Little by little, I nursed myself back to a state of complete balanced health by adopting a healthier diet and lifestyle.

It became clear that there was much more to maintaining and restoring health than pills and surgeries. I had a renewed awe for God’s marvelous creation and a calling to help others attain balanced health.

In 2016, I made a conscious decision to pivot in my career. After dedicating 30 years of my life to a struggling paradigm of health, I listened to the whispers and started taking steps to learn the skills I needed to be The Bridge for others who are ready to make necessary changes on their health and wellness journeys. I immersed myself in learning about a myriad of natural health topics, many of which I have adopted and recommend.

In 2019, I attended and became a Certified Coach through Duke Integrative Medicine, and in early 2020, I passed the national coaching certification exam and earned the credential of NBC-HWC in conjunction with the National Board of Medical Examiners. I am currently completing further education in Functional Nutrition.

Today, I partner with all who seek to maintain or restore their health through natural modalities, and I have a special fondness for the caregivers of Alzheimer’s parents.

Thank you for taking the time to find out more about me. Now, I’d love to hear from you! Please send me a note.
